TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF USE: CERTIFICATE VERIFICATION PORTAL
1. ACCEPTANCE OF TERMS
By accessing, querying, or otherwise utilizing the Certificate Verification Tool (hereinafter referred to as the «Tool») hosted on www.iassociatesl.com and operated by IAL (hereinafter referred to as the «Certification Body»), you (the «User») expressly agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree to these terms, you must immediately cease any use of the Tool.
2. PURPOSE AND SCOPE OF THE TOOL
The Tool is an electronic verification interface deployed to allow interested third parties, stakeholders, and the general public to authenticate the validity, current status (e.g., Active, Suspended, Withdrawn), and scope of conformity assessments and certificates issued by IAL.
3. PERMITTED USE AND RESTRICTIONS
The User is granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, and revocable license to perform manual, single-instance queries for legitimate verification purposes. The following actions are strictly prohibited and constitute a material breach of these Terms:
Automated Extraction: The use of automated scripts, bots, spiders, or scrapers to perform bulk queries, data mining, or systematic extraction of the IAL certification database.
Reverse Engineering: Attempting to bypass rate limits, CAPTCHAs, API endpoints, or security protocols of the www.iassociatesl.com infrastructure.
Commercial Misuse: Reselling, repackaging, or utilizing the retrieved data for unauthorized commercial directories or unsolicited marketing campaigns.
4. DATA ACCURACY AND DISCLAIMER OF WARRANTIES
While IAL employs stringent data governance protocols to ensure the registry is updated synchronously with our central certification backend, the Tool and its output data are provided on an «AS IS» and «AS AVAILABLE» basis.
IAL expressly disclaims all warranties, whether express or implied, including but not limited to the uninterrupted availability of the Tool, protection against latency, or the absolute real-time accuracy of the displayed records. In the event of a discrepancy or anomalous output, the internal master records of the Certification Body shall be deemed the sole authoritative source.
5. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, IAL, its directors, auditors, and technical affiliates shall not be held liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising from:
The use or inability to use the Tool due to server downtime, network latency, or scheduled maintenance.
Decisions, contracts, or financial transactions executed by the User in reliance upon the data retrieved from the Tool.
Data corruption or unauthorized interception of queries.
6. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY RIGHTS
All backend architecture, database schemas, frontend interfaces, source code, and data compilations associated with the Tool are the exclusive intellectual property of IAL. Accessing the Tool does not grant the User any ownership rights over the certification data or the proprietary algorithms used for record retrieval.
7. DATA PRIVACY AND PROTECTION
Any queries submitted through the Tool, including IP addresses and timestamp logs, are processed in accordance with our Privacy Policy. The certification data displayed may contain entity information governed by applicable data protection regulations (such as GDPR). The User agrees to process any viewed data strictly within the lawful context of certification validation.
8. SYSTEM INTEGRITY AND RIGHT TO TERMINATE
IAL reserves the right to implement query throttling, block specific IP addresses, or permanently suspend access to the Tool without prior notice if anomalous traffic patterns or malicious activities are detected. IAL may also modify, suspend, or deprecate the Tool at its sole discretion.
9. AMENDMENTS
IAL reserves the right to amend these Technical Terms and Conditions at any time. Any updates will be deployed directly to www.iassociatesl.com, and continued use of the Tool following such deployment constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
10. GOVERNING LAW
These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the applicable laws of the jurisdiction where IAL is officially registered, without regard to its conflict of law principles
